I run a amd 2400 with a radeon 9200 and a simple sound blaster 16. I was told by a software tech, to enable agp texture in my direct x diag. but its states its unavailable. does anyone have a solution for this?
I just checked my DirectX and have a Radeon 9200 SE card with DirectX 9.0 [4.09.0000.0900].
The Display tab show DirectDraw Acceleration as Enabled,
Direct3D Acceleration as Enabled, and AGP Texture Acceleration as Enabled. All 3 entries have a button to Disable them.
Well I downloaded the most recent drivers from ati's web site along with my sound card drivers. Both with no avail. I can tell I dont even know a spec about this stuff compared to you, so forgive my ignorance but i'm not even quite sure how to retrive my driver information like you did. I'm only familer with the "systems properties". I checked in there and found nothing like you stated. I've been doing a bunch of research for the past 4 hours on this issue. And I think i'm narrowing it down to a mother board problem. Do you think that might be possible?
Thank u very much the rage3d progam, worked great. But I guess that wasent my problem. I was told to enable texture accel. by a software tech support guy for a ddhelp error I kept receiving. Now that the enabled problem is fixed I still receive that darn ddhelp error. Any thoughts on this?
