How can I disable OWA access by default for new users created in AD?

We have recently upgraded from Exchange 2000 to 2003. At the same time implemented OWA.

My question: -
When I create a new user account in Active Directory, the OWA (HTTP) access is enabled by default.

I would like to change this so that the default setting for new users is disabled. Is this possible?

Scott32,

What you're asking may require an ADSI Edit. As a workaround, when you add new users, try copying an AD User that already has the Exchange OWA Disabled. Do this by right-clicking the existing user account in AD Users and Computers.

Hi Scott32,

I have the same issue; have you found a resolution for changing this default setting?

Thanks,
Jeff
