Hello, everyone.

I used to love browsing with netscape but I have full of stress using netscape.

Does anyone know how to disable it? I have cleared all the data from the 'option'. Auto-fill still works on every single site that I typed the data on the form.

I don't want to use it.

Can anyone help me to get rid of stress?

Thanks.

I've not got NN8 installed, but I imagine there is an option (much like in NN7) to turn off this feature.

Try going through all of the preference screens. In NN7, it's under "Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Forms", and "Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Passwords".

Hope this helps,
Dan

Try Edit > Preferences > Navigator > Smart Browsing and uncheck
"Automatically complete text typed into Location bar."

Thank you guys for the answer.

But unfortunately, Netscape 8 doen't have Preferences on Edit.

I'd better downgrade.

Wow! Just spent an illuminating time checking out the NS8 menus at Netscape.com, and if it's there, it's under Tools > Options. I may have to agree with Juni and go with a downgrade for a while, but first . . . try clearing the history and/or the location bar.
