HI –
I’m trying to accomplish something that seems easy but after hours of trying to make it happen…I just seem to be missing something…
I have three phone lines (one primary and two rollover lines) that ring and can be answered on all five of my Avaya phones. Our VM System is Partner Mail VS R5.0.
I would like to have all three lines continue to ring on all five phones, but if nobody answers, the called will be directed to one VM (on ext. 10) instead of the caller being prompted to enter an extension.
So if someone calls my office and nobody answers, they’ll just get the VM on extension 10.
I’ve read about Line ownership, Line Coverage and I just can’t seem to nail it down. I’m assuming that I need to somehow disable the Auto Attendant????
Can anyone PLEASE give me the general steps to make this happen?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
