I am sure there is a simple answer to my question but I am my wit's end trying to figure it out...
After making a few changes to its source query I am now unable to view a report I've used several times successfully...I now get the message:
"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not execute the SQL statement because it contains a field that has an invalid data type".
The report's source is a query with five fields; two are text, two are numerical values and a third is the ratio of those two numbers. I have set the format of the ratio field to percentage, and the format on the report is the same. The remaining fields' data types also match from query to report.
I used to base the report on a table, but then I had to manually calculate the values and input them into the table - setting up a query to do that is so much more efficient. That is, if I can get it to make the darn report.
Any help would be greatly appreciated -
