I created a public folder few days ago and now someone delted. How can I check that or keep track of changes to public folders.

You really can't unless you find something in the logs.

Best thing to do is assign custom rights to the folder and not allow delete.

I hope you find this post helpful.

. Does the logs shows up on public folder server?

. Is there a way to increase the logging on public folder?

Honestly I only had to battle this once before and don't have access to an Exchange box anymore. I was able to figure out who had deleted it so take a look in your logs and there should hopefully be something there.

I hope you find this post helpful.

In Server System log there should be a detailed list of all events that happened to the system.

In Exchange Manager there is a record of who logged on when, you can try to reverse engineer and find the cuprit but I agree w/ Mark, restore the folder from backup or archive and set specific permissions for it.

I have a 'crazy clicker' on my network and he has zero permissions for entering/deleting data on any public folders except his own.

thank you guys,
But i also get request from people in regard to who made changes to their public folders . sometimes they see certain information was edited and they need to know who did it.
