How can I check for name cheaters in some forum?

I am participating in some forum.
There are some cheaters that use the names
of some participants for wrong answers.
Can I find out if it is IP address of the permanent
forum member or of the cheater.
Or may be it is another way to see
that the message has been sended
not from the permanent forum member address.

it would seem to be a problem to address to the moderator of the forum. He may choose to use tools to address the issue. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
