I purchased a HTC TYTN (Not TYTN II) in Switzerland.
The OS is in German.
I want to change it to English.
I could not find any solution, neither from HTC nor from Microsoft nor from the communication provider (Seller of the device).
I even tried to find WM6 English to purchase and install.
Could not find so far.
I have the same problem with another device: HTC P3300.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you not get the language option when you hardreset the device?

No. Unfortunately there is no language selection.
It is sold in German.
Neither Microsoft, nor HTC nor my communication provider could help convert to English.

I have a TYTN and can change the language in the following way: Start, Settings, System, Regional Settings.
You would need to understand German to get going though... ;)

Unless the OS has both language files installed, you probaly are out of luck.

And even if it does, you might have issues with some applications loading on a non-English OS.

Only the phone manufacturer can provide the flash code to re-load an OS on a Windows Mobile device for some reason.

With Blackberry, you can download and re-load the OS... but Microsoft only seem to provide native code as OEM to the manufacturers and developers.
