Hello,

this is my first thread and i´m very interested in your answers.
How can i change the ringing tone of a m3820 with a plugged headset?
I have changed the required prompts, but when a plantronics headset ist plugged in, there is only the standard ringing tone.
Question:
Is that problem only with plantronics headsets or is it allways?

Thanks a lot

Joachim

What prompt did you change? in which overlay?

Hi Roupe,

i had changed in overlay 20 in the cls promt the parameter drg.
There are 4 different ringing tones.

Thanks

Joachim

Hy Jolan,

When ever you plugged in an Headset in an 3820 you get an Peep as the Ringing tone. To change this go to load 20 and change the promt FITD/FITA in the cls for this Phone.

Hi TBuster,

thank you for answering.
I ´ve just searched for this prompt in the configuration of the telefone.
But FITA is already prompted.

Do you have another idea?

Thank you!

Jolan

With Rls 25 you have the following in CLS

BFEA Boss Secretary Feature Enhancement Allowed
(BUZZ) Buzz basic-24
RNGI Apply ringing when idle but off hook
RNGB Apply ringing when idle but off hook or busy on the
other line

Try chging to RNGB or RNGI - BUZZ is the default

Hi Reusser,

thank you for your answer, but do not have Rel. 25, only Rel. 23.47.
Soon we will upgrade our system and then i´ll try.
