How can I cancel color in Word document? 1

How can I cancel red color that somebody created in the Word document?Try as I might (I tried View/Markup) and it is still here.

What steps should I take to get rid of it?

I work under XP Word 2002 (I am not sure under what version of Word the document was created)

font, interior, outline, highlight....

WHAT is RED?

This is a background color . Just one colomn body in the table
 



Did you try Format > Borders and Shading???
