Hi,

How can i produce a report that gives for each ward its name, code, and the percentage occupied in the wardof a hospital.
knowing that we have the table of "Ward" wich hold a wardCode, wardName, BedCount.
And another table for Admission wich has AdmissionID, patient_Id, AdmissionDate, Ward code Discharge_Date
N.B: I am using MS SQL

Thanks for all your help

RECAP (for the benefit of other folks who may also want to respond or help):

In thread 220-236428 (in the ANSI-SQL forum), you first posted this problem, and I mentioned two possible solutions.

In thread 220-237134:
- you mentioned that my suggestion did not work,
- I asked if you could be more specific re: the problem, &
- tbroadbent pointed out that CAST would not work in Access

In thread 220-237258, you mentioned that you were using Access, and that CAST indeed seemed to be the problem.

In this current post (now in the MS-SQL forum), you are now indicating that you are using MS SQL database.

This is kind of confusing, no?
Would you care to confirm which database you are actually using? Have you switched databases since your post in the other forum?

Hi there,
We are confused when you say "MS SQL ACCESS".
Do you mean Microsoft SQL SERVER,
OR Microsoft ACCESS Database (part of the Office family)?
