Hi All,

I'm trying to backup .bak files (sql backup files) and for some reason Legato networker is ignoring this kind of files.

Can you please tell me what is wrong?

Thanks, Lior.

yes, i've checked this and there is no .bak file

Try to manuall back them up. If this works, create an always directive:

< / >
always: *.bak

Yo probably need a new, special client resource.

Hi,

I've tried to add this vaiable
< / >
always: *.bak
to the directives and this didn't solve the problem, may be i did something wrong?
can you please help me where to add this?

Thanks, Lior.

Hello,

what about a

< / >
+logasm: *.bak

for the case where this files are in-use during save ?

Denis

Sorry, i actually forgot an important character - it should read like this:
< / >
+always: *.bak

still cannot backup these files.

i received the following error:
* Probe job had unrecoverable failure(s), this job is being abandoned.

take a look at your daemon.log or your savegroup completion log file (as described in the notifications).

have you ever saved files on this client ?

Can you backup these files manually at all?

Hi,

Now it is working, i've restarted the server and everything is working.

Thanks for helping me.Lior.
