Shouldn't be any problem. We run an NT4.0 network with mostly 98 clients. Just make sure you specify the correct I.P. settings when youre setting it up. Is there a specific problem you're having getting a 98 station to join?
No we run 98 machines fine here on an NT network. Just ensure you have Client for Microsoft Networks installed under network properties and TCP/IP. Then put in your Domain Name you should be good to go.
Put your Domain name into the workgroup name as well. (under identification tab: network props)
This will let you browse the network.
But as long as you specify the domain name under Client for MS Networks, you should at least be able to log on to the NT domain. ________________________________________
