Hello,

I would like to place a parameter of "Enter Date" in my query criteria. If I add "[Enter Date:]" I am prompted to enter a date. This is fine, but how can I modify the criteria for this output <#8/23/2007#?

I need to see all records prior to 8/23/2007.

Thanks.

If you always want to use < then set the criteria to:
<[Enter Date]

IMHO parameter prompt queries are never an acceptable user interface. I suggest you use a text box or other control on a form for all filtering values.

Hey Duane,

Thank you, that is what I was looking for.

I typically perform this function through a form, but this is a temporary query so it will work for now.

Thanks again. :)
