Hello all.

We have a citrix server set up that users use for outlook 2000 and internet explorer. This is all fine, but some of our mobile sales guys have outlook installed locally. When these users click on a url in an email, it launches their local internet explorer. I want it to open the citrix IE session and go to the specified url. Is there any way to make this happen?

Please advise!

Thanks

I'm only thinking perhaps these Sales guys probably launched their local outlook which of course should have been the Citrix outlook icon, hence lauching the local IE as well. Rather confused, if they had launched their Citrix outlook in ICA session and then clicking on a url in their outlook..I know this doesn't help you resolve your situation..

Sometimes, you just have to forget your head and grab your balls ...!

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry for the confusion. They have (and use) outlook locally as when they are on the road and using dialup for access, getting their email direct from the exchange server is much better for speed purposes than using the outlook through citrix. These users do not use the citrix outlook at all, although their internet is still through citrix.

Haven't actually ever configed but have a look at content redirection.
