I only want to know whether it is possible to delete a mail completely when a special search criteria is found?

I tried the "Server Options" and "Delete" but it doesn´t do it.

I only want to filter the messages for specific words and when a word is found in the mail the whole mail should deleted.
I don´t want to save them in a Spam Folder or in the Trash Folder.

Other mail programs can do such things, but Outlook and Eudora doesn´t.

I also had the Idea to save them in a Folder and to automate it to delete all objects in the folder when the program is closed. But the Filters seems to only work with the incoming and outgoing folders.

Hope anyone can help, eudora is a nice email client.

Chromax. I'm afraid you can't do this from within Eudora, unless you have it set to leave all messages on server as far as I understand. My solution to this is to use a freeware anti-spam software called Mailwasher available from I'm not associated with Mailwasher in any way other than being a user. HTH
