I downloaded a Portforward.com.Offline.CD,363 MB from a bit torrent site, i assume an instruction video , how do i open it?
it is .rar, but opens as .bin and. cue files, i assume thats OS Mac ? can it be burned with toast and then open as a video?

i assume an instruction video

Why are you not sure? Should we assume that this is copyrighted material that you obtained illegally? Tek-tips is not for aid in piracy.

Google for BIN/CUE and you will see that this is not a Mac OS-specific file.

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

I have no idea what it is,just trying to learn,I contacted the owner of Portforward.com.He was ok said “pretty cool. “ with any download from his site ,I recommend anyone to view his site as good resource at Portforward.com.

Hi,

.bin and .cue files together are usually a form of iso.

The .bin will be the larger of the two.

Download MagicISO open the program and select the bin file and open it.

This will show you the contents of the files.

If you need any more help, leave another post.

Try finding VLC media player. I'm pretty sure versiontracker has it and it's free!
