how activate a call forward feature by software on an analogue telephone

Hi guys,

I am trying to activate the call forward feature in some analogue phones. But I was wondering if there is a way to activate this service by software I mean through the PBX command line.

You can enter the number you want it to forward to, but the actual forwarding has to be done at the phone.

I was thinking that this could be activated by software. Thanks for all your help

If this is permanent, or at least long term, you could set it up as an ACD forwarded to where you want it to go, as well as several other ways, but this is not a day to day solution as you would lose the phone number programmed on the phone.
