how 2 select multiple layers

i'm using photoshop 7,

how do you select multiple layers at a time?

let's say i want to easily delete 5 layers at once, i can't figure out how to do that. i just delete them one at a time.
there must be an easier way

you can click on your layer, than shift click for the othet 5. i haven't try this, but you can try to do this

Fred,

There are a couple of ways to select different layers depending on what you want to do with them, but usually you at least start by linking them. Click on one of the layers you want to link then click on the empty box next to the eye on all of the other layers you want to link. For more information look in the Help under Linking Layers.

As for deleting many layers at once, look here: thread229-720510 don't know if that link is going to work... first time I've posted a link in these forums... in any case, this question was originally asked by Rumble101 and the thread is thread229-720510.)
