I need to be able to calculate the number of hours between 2 datetime fields but excluding any weekends. Is there a simple formula to do this.
I'm using crystal XI.

Many thanks for any help.

Stuart.

I'm also seeking a similar solution. I've used the above formula, and it very nicely generates the count, but the result is a string and cannot be used in any additional formulas (in my case I'm trying to calculate Operating Room Utilization and want to multiple that result by 390(minutes the OR is available) and then get a utilzation compliance percentage). I've used the "tonumber" function, but when trying to use that number, I get the oh so common "This Field Cannot Be Summarized" error.

Any way around this?

The business hours formula results in a number, not a string, so I'm not sure what formula you are using.

Crud, that would do it. There was a couple available, I clearly grabbed the wrong one.
