Hi,

I want to send email with link to some Excel table. It is possible to create link by "Create\Hotspot\Link Hotspot" command. There is correct link to Excel table in email. But when I open this table probably some copy from temporary directory is opened, because changes are not saved to original file.

How can I create link allowing me to open and save Excel file to linked location in Lotus Notes?

If the recipient is in the same company, you should be able to simply point out where the shared directory is.

I've also heard that you can send him the URL to the location and that should work.

You could also make a Windows shortcut and attach that.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.

Solved! Windows shortcut as attachment is working. Thank you for advise.
