Hotmail sending through Sircam worm

Hi,

I have a problem with a user who keeps getting an email from an unknown hotmail account.

The problems is that she has recived it 12 or so times.

Of course we are deleting the email, etc - so it is unlikely that it has infected her PC (fingers crossed)...

But...we can't seem to stop this email - and it's appears to be coming from the same hotmail account.

What's the best thing to do - contacting "abuse@hotmail.com"?? can they delete the account or something?

It's definitely worth a shot. They can at least investigate the account and see if there is another problem with their servers.

It is probably not from a hotmail account per se. The return address is probably forged, like most spam.

The best thing that you can do is simply set the filters to block that particular sender.

A couple of times I got over a 1000 emails from some spammer. I found out there was not much I could do except block the sender.

Well sending something to abuse@hotmail.com is not of very much help. First you get some message from a computer, and may be they will mail you.
I am getting almost for 3 months a letter asking me to buy a University Diploma, and always it is a fake email.
They should block anonymus email.
