To roll C.O. cards in a trunk module for testing, can you hot swap or is it best to simply "disable" the module first?
Also, could you just power down the trunk module?
For some reason I have had Norstars "default" lately.

Trust me,it's best to power down after hours, roll your cards and power back up to test.95 % of the time you can get away with hot swapping them but if you get caught in that 5 % you WILL WISH you did it the safe way

Thanks KABUKI, appreciate the help!

No need to disable the cards first, though, if you power down the TM.

If the cards are in the KSU, though, don't take any shortcuts. Power down the cabinet, and make sure you've got cards back in their slots when you power back up, or the system will default.

this issue is one of the big things I don't like on the hardware of the ICS system. Norstar knew how to do hot swaps when they designed the system (evidence is their meridian system) why they didn't carry that over is a quandry.
