Hi everyone,
we have two option 11c connected together via E1 PRI (TIE).
we need to program a two-way hotline between the two sites.
we where successful to program a two way hotline within the same site extensions, however when we used the same logic for the TIE didnot work:
KEY 0 HOT D 4 (SITE B EXT) (SITE A EXT)

please advice

your dialing four digits across the tie..

hot d 4 1234 will dial 4 digits, if you dial 1234 does it ring the far end.. test it one direction

KEY 0 HOT D 4 (SITE B EXT) (SITE A EXT) add a h,r,n or v for hot, ringing, nonringing or voice .. you can add clid or d for default/ optioal

Yes, one way is working.
site a can ring site b 1234 ext.
but we need a way to let 1234 also dail site a ext ??

it's the same key on the far end, just reverse the ext numbers..

site A:
m3902
key 0 hot d 4 (site B)

so there is no extension to be reversed in site A

because KEY 0 HOT D 4 (SITE a EXT1) (SITE A EXT2)
is valid only within the same site only

but when tried KEY 0 HOT D 4 (SITE B EXT) (SITE A EXT)
for the tie didnot work

Hi johnpoole,
it worked. my bad, i reversed the order of the extensions !!
so it should be key 0 hot d 4 (destination ext) (local ext)
thanks
