We are using some i1210 phone with Hot_line for emergency phones all around the building to call the security guards when someone take the handset.

My problem is that the hotline function dosen't seems to have a caller ID, so the guards dosen't knows from where the person is calling if she can't talk etc...

I dont have any name field with hotline...and the phone dosen't seems to use the designation field...

Anybody have an idea?

Program like this -
KEY 0 HOT D yyyy ccc zzzz
yyyy = hotline destination
ccc = CLID entry number (anything will work if you are only calling internally but you need to enter something)
zzzz = unique DN that is assigned to this phone only

Now you can program a name for zzz in LD 95.

Thanks for the answer.

I'm not very friendly with CS1000 so I'm using element manager..

Can I do this within element manager? Because the only fields I have with HOT_D is Destination DN Length, Destination DN and ANIE Entry...

Okay, I was wrong about the format anyway. CLID isn't required, don't know what I was thinking.
Program like this -
KEY 0 HOT D nn yyyy zzzz
nn = number of digits in destination DN
yyyy = hotline destination
zzzz = unique DN that is assigned to this phone only

In element manager you would put yyyy zzzz (with space between) in the Destination DN field.

Thanks it's works!

Actually in element manager I have to use HOT_D_2WAY instead of hot_d and I've put the key format that you send me.

After it ld 95 did the job for the name.

Thanks!
