On an MCD 4.2 SP2 (MXe III) linked to a MAS 3.0, I used the MAS user page to create the Nupoint/Awc users without selecting single point provisioning. Some of the users on the MCD are hot desk users and they wanted to be able to login with a blank PIN.. However, when they change their vm password from the TUI (press 8 for user options, 7 to change the passsword), it somehow goes in the 3300 and enters the vm password as their hotdesking password in the Access and Authentication tab!!!! Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

There is an option in the MAS called Single point provisioning, Apparantly this should do what you want, However in previous versions of MAS this did not work. I was under the impression this was to be fixed in MAS 3 so its worth you trying it but as yet I havnt got a MAS 3 to try it on.

After all it is done by design, when you change the Nupoint password it changes the Hot Desk password. No way to turn it off..
