Hi All,

Anyone implemented hot desking (Not acd hot desk or external hot desking) on a teleworker (handset 5330) sucessfully. And info on how you configure the 3300?. all the office handsets are 5330. 3300 is stand alone device not in cluster

O/S revisions:

MAS - 1.2ur1 sp1 (server gateway)
3300 - mcd 4.0 sp1

yes whats the problem??

generally 1 thing catches me out.
Is this a standalone site?
Ensure in ICP/PBX assignment you have added your own ip address of your 3300 in the ICP / PBX members (bottom of screen)

Let me know

Thanks

Read it somewhere also and when i tried to set was prompted that option wasn't purchased. But i think i only need to activate network option in licensing and reboot system.

Will give it a shot

Hi, i'm having exact same issue with a teleworker set today. If I create a 'hotdesking' key on the 5330 T/W set (which is up and working) it comes back "not allowed". The Ip address of the 3300 is already in the icp/pbx assignment form.
Any other ideas?
Cheers - Mark

Hi, I just got it working by changing the "Hot desk login accept" to "Yes" in the class of service for the hot desk user... Can now login fine.
Hope this helps jakt99? Cheers - Mark

apart from the basics if I remember right in cluster element assignment ensure you have cluster element ID digits set and the feature DN.

Hi Gents

thanks for info

To clarify mark, apart from COS option enabled for hot desking. You must have network ip activate in license form to be able to set cluster element id and ICP/PBX assigned added with local IP address?

cheers

That is correct. Although this was already in the licensing and the ICP/PBX config was already programmed the 3300 I was creating the T/W user for so i'm not sure if this is actually a requirement for Teleworker hot desking or not?
