Question on OPT 81. I have a 2616 set configged to hot dial an analog phone from one key. Can I set it up to hot dial 2 different analog phones. OR can I even build the same 500 set's DN on 2 different TN's? I'm thinking it won't allow same DN on 2 TN's?

You could if you changed the analog to the same DN (MCRA in CLS) multi-call instead of single appearence. Then it will be a mix

You can definitely have the same DN appear on two different 500 TNs. When the 2616 user hits the hot dial button, both 500 sets will ring. When one is answered, the other will stop ringing.

Thanks! I'll have to play with that then...never did it before.

No, you can not hot D 2 diff numbers. 2 diff analog phones (w/same number) yes.

Well I did make the change to MCRA and when I tried to program another 500 with the same DN it tells me that it must be unique? Am I supposed to create a group like askman2010 suggests?
