Does anyone have a recommendation for a hosting company that is both inexpensive and will allow me to park multiple domain names on one account?

Thanks Much!

~David

Just an idea.
I registered my names with ($16 per year). I have one domain at a hosting compamny using a "throwaway" name. I then set up sub-webs under the root and use free "URL Forwarding" at BuyDomians.Com to point to each sub-web separately. So and each point to a separate sub-web i.e. and They are not "multiple domains" in the strictest sense. You of courcse can point multiple names to the same sub-web.

Thanks John... I've been using register.com with URL forwarding.... ... Great Tech support and tools, but they are a tadd pricey.

Most of the info supplied so far seems to be for domain names and not hosting. I use two hosts, is under $20.00/year with no set-up fee,for great hosting with FrontPage extensions and multiple email accounts.

I have also used OneDollarHosting at They are $12.00/year, but have a $60.00 set-up fee that they don't tell you about until your in the process of signing up.

Godaddy.com has the best price for domain names, but their hosting is $9.95/month. Jon Holmen

HostPro is a high level hosting option. You can choose a server plan with anything from basic to e-commerce, SQL ect. They are a good price for what they offer. I use them to host sites for multiple customers.

Hey davidgrant,

Checkout it has the features you are asking about and a lot more. Go check out all their options. They charge $7.77 a month for 100 Mb, but you have to pay for a year at a time. I assume you already have your domain names. If not PowWeb provides a link to where you can buy a domain name for $15. There are some good deals out there, but be careful where you buy your domain names, especially when they are selling well below the cost of everyone else. Make sure you own the rights to the name. You don't want to get in a situation where you want to change where you host your site, but they own the rights to the domain name you are using. If in doubt read their FAQ's. At PowWeb you own the rights to the domain name, so if you don't like their service you can go elsewhere and take your domain names with you.

As a side note, I did the same search a few month's ago and am now using PowWeb. Their email client is not as robust as I would like, but they are scheduled to do a major update to it in the next few weeks. I am a newbie to web design and just play around with mine when I can. If you decide to sign on with PowWeb, please use my site as the referral site. Check it out it's a bit slow because I have some huge WAV files out there that I am working to correct. But that's on my end, not PowWeb's. -Bobby s-)
