G'day all,
We are planning to put Panasonic TES824 behind another TES824 which will be the host PABX.

This second (or new PABX) need to use CO lines that are attached to both PABX's.

The way explained in the manual to access host pabx co line is pressing,
automatic CO line access number (9) -> Host pabx access code

Since the automatic CO line access number(9) is used to access the host PABX, will it be possible to access CO lines attached to this new PABX by pressing the same automatic line access number (9)?

Thanks for the answers. You are 100% correct in everything you said. The customer ordered centrex to ge the "fredom" features available to small comapnies in our area including special discounts for regional calling etc... I had no control over that. The office has 12 desks and 7 lines hence the PBX (I think they only need about 4 - 5 lines). I will be looking to have centrex pul the dial 9 requirement. Its seems simple enought what I want to do and if I had designed the PBX I certanly would have thought of this. If you read the text on Host/PBX access its exactly what I want but they dont give you what they describe :(
