Is there a script or way to push a new host file to all the pc's in a domain? I have an edited host file that blocks sites and need to get it to each pc.

You can create a line in a login script that copies the hosts file to users machines, but of course you would have to run it with administrator privileges via /runas.

If you have a windows domain, just add the blocked sites to you DNS which will resolve locally (e.g. 127.0.0.1). I assume you don't have a firewall to block the sites.

You can use a GPO to push a Machine start up script that would copy the new Hosts file to every machine, this would avoid the admin rights issues.

Thanks all but I managed to get the owner to purchase a content filter appliance.
