horizontal sliding menu 1

how do i go about creating a menu slides horizontally across when clicked to reveal page. the menu would be situated on the left side, tabs revealing menu choices, menu topic clicked, tab slides across to right to reveal page. i have been searching for tuts on this with no luck, any advice is appreciated. thanks

make the menu a movieclip, set the x postion to the left of the screen, put a click handler on the tabs that starts a tween, interval, or transition that brings the menu to the right. if you're not an advanced user, i'd suggest a tween.
