I didn't get any response to this question in the Forms Forum and I really need a solution. When I click on a tab page on a form I want the subform to open at the top of the horizontal scroll bar so I can see all the tab pages on the subform. It always opens in the middle of the scroll bar and I have to mouse the horizontal bar to the top of the subform in order to navigate to other subform tab pages. This is iritating to users. Is there a way to force the subform to open at the top of its tab pages?

Just for clarification -- You said "When I click on a tab page on a form I want the subform to open . . ." Do you have a long subform on the tab page, or were you perhaps referring to the tab page itself? I believe I understand the rest of the question -- may not have an answer, but understand the question.

I'm confused by your question so I'm not sure how to answer it, but I'll try. My form has several tab pages. So, first I click on one of these tab pages on the form (let's say, page 3). Page 3 appears. I next want to look at the subform on page 3, but the subform's tab pages are hidden from view. So I have to move the subform's horizontal scroll bar up to see - and navigate - the subform's tab pages. That's the irritation. Does this explain?

OK, you have a Form with tab pages, and some of those tab pages on the main form have a subform which also features tab pages. Is that right?

And when you click the tab on the main page, the view of the resulting tabbed page is positioned so that the tabs of the subform are not visible without mousing around. Is that correct?

One thing that makes me think that I may not be getting it -- if you're using a scroll bar to get to the "up" to the "top of the subform," then it seems that it would be the vertical scrollbar.

Perhaps, if my understanding of the situation is correct, you could repost (3rd time's a charm!)with a title like, "Tabbed form, tabbed subform, vertical scrollbar, yikes!" or something.

Sorry if I seem dense -- and then don't have an answer other than suggesting a way to clarify the question! Oh, well, the price is right, anyway.

One thing you can try is make sure that the tab order for the feilds in your subform are set properly. If you have the uppermost feild first in the tab order of the subform I think it will load with that feild on the top of the subform which will make your scroll bar stay where you want it. I tried it on a form and thats how it seems to work. Zorro
