Hooking Up A SPARCstation 10 to DSL

I know you have to edit your /etc/host file but I'm not exactly sure the steps. If someone could point me in the right direction to a web site or even email me a walk through that would be awesome [sig][/sig]

Are you not sure of the steps of ediiting /etc/hosts?
If so use your editor (vi, ted, emacs etc..) to create a line in the /etc/hosts file that has the ip addres followed by a space then the servername.
Like this:-
191.91.9.191 SPARCstationName

If you want something else please ellaborate.

OK Ged Jones got me closer by advising me to use the ifconfig command. Does anyone know exactly what I o with that? Like the argumnets and what I should be looking for? [sig][/sig]
