Hook up a T7406 to the receptionist

Hi all, i have 2 questions...
- we have many m7310 here and the receptionist as the m7324(with cap). We have bought a T7406 cordless phone to help here because she as to move often in the office. how can i set up the t7406 to ring as the same as here m7324??? It use to work like this but then a reset was made to the system...

- We have 2 line pool here A and B, i can set any line button to accept pool A or B but i cant get both on the same phone.... like button 1 is pool A and button 2 is Pool B

I start thinking why not assign Pool a for example 81
and pool B 82.


So you dial 81 or 82 to grab line in pool A or B, am i understanding your question correctly ...

Thanks for the reply, no not exactly, i have a button on the phone, if i press it it takes a line from pool A(last one first), i ws able to assign this function to the button while going in the admin **266344, in the button mapper. I use the fonction 64(group line) but after it demande a code.. in this case i type 9 and it use pool A. But i dont know where this 9 came from. I dont have a number for pool B.
Is it more clear? And sorry because english is my 2nd language..

To program a Line out button use F649 where 9 = your pool.

You must know or make sure your lines are in the correct pool.

To have the cordless ring at same time as desk set you can go into programming under the cordless DN and assing an Answer DN key for the desk DN Sets/LineAcess/AnswerDN

I think Curlycord missed 1 thing ...

Feature *3, button + Feature 649(Pool x with 9)

At least in Normal Phones you do that way just in case ...

He is programming from config under preferences/buttons, not from a set but yes you can do it that way if you want to visit every phone.

Forgot to mention for Pools you need to go to SytemProgramming/AccessCodes.

Well well, thank you guys were almost there!!!! I finaly found where to assign number to my pool(thanks to you), so now pool A is 4 and pool B is 5, and with Fct64 it work to map this on the t7406. Also i was able to hook up to cordless to ring anytime a call came to the receptionist.

Now the only thing left is top be able to answer the call!!!!

Here's the mapping of the button on my t7406
B1 pool A intercom B4
B2 transf voice mail intercom B5
B3 pool B intercom B6

before the reset B4 was the button to answer any calls. it was flashing when a called was made to the receptionist.

How can i put it back to its purpopse?

make the phone have 2 intercom keys amd make B4 a answer DN key for the receptionist phone.

At last its working!!!! thank you all.. i had to put 3(even if only 2 appears) intercom on the t7406 to lilberate the button 3 which was automaticaly set to answer the receptionist.

Also put in only 1 or 2 Intercoms keys and program a handsfree key so it bumps up the Instrcoms for view.
