Hook Flash from and FXS Port on a Rhino T1 Channel Bank

Mitel MCD 5.0 SP2 PR2 connected to a Rhino T1 Channel Bank (T1 E&M) set for AMI/D4/Wink converts the signal to a FXS Port, unable to hook flash from the FXS Port on the T1 Channel Bank. When a hook flash is applied from the FXS Port, the caller is not placed on hold. Based on information provided by the ESM Help, T1 E&M Flash Hook is only support on a NSU. Has anyone encounter is problem?
