I've got a serious problem with IE6 and its choice of homepages. Some website set itself to be my homepage, and it will not let itself be changed. I can change it, but as whenever I shutdown/restart my computer, it sets itself right back the the previous unwanted homepage. I checked the excellent FAQ by reghakr on this subject, but, unfortunately, my registry seems to be lacking an Internet Explorer folder where it's supposed to be. Anybody know of any ways I can fix this problem?

Yes, I've deleted cookies, files, history, Internet Explorer itself (most of it at least; it still ran) and I've reinstalled it, repaired it, disable third party programs. Every method I could think of, I used. Nothing seemed to work.

Thank you so much! You really pulled my bacon off the fire by putting that second link up there. It finally went back to normal. Thanks!
