I have a home network that's having "issues". Does anyone know of a good tool for snooping what's going on to see conflicts, collisions, or other calamities that might be causing problems? It can run on Windows, Linux, or OS/X.
Wireshark network analyzer comes with, or is available for, several Linux distributions. I'm sure it can't detect all the problems that could occur, but it can give you a clue about what's going on.
