holding a frame (field)

hi there, this is driving me crazy
Im working with fields, and when I have to hold a frame during the animation (time remapped it)
the field holds and looks jittery until the animation is resumed, is there any way to have After effects to hold the WHOLE FRAME ???
I tried pretty much everything

I don't know if/how Save Frame... works with fields, and it's a bit lo-tek, but maybe you could save the frame you want to hold (from the Composition menu), then use that file as a layer over the animation?

Hi there
You can try to make a key on timeremaping on the time line where you wont to be the still frame
BUT the key must be HOLD KAY I think.
