Hold recall

we recently upgraded our IPO 406V2 from 3.2 to 5.0. I am now getting complaints that hold recall is ringing back versus the hold recall beep and does not stop. i have copied the email from our office manager.


Calls on Hold:



Before the upgrade…when calls were placed on hold it would ring back to us and if we didn’t answer the calls would go back to the hold pattern.

Now that we have done the upgrade…this doesn’t happen. The call just rings and rings. We have to pick it up and place the call on hold again.

Go in and change the hold reminder settings then, that's what you get when untrained people upgrade a system :)

Really,

HOLD RECALL TIMER IS 60 SECONDS. I can only bite my tongue!
 
In 4.0 there where some changes in how call should ring.
A transfered call does now ring external instead of internal.
I think this is a change too.
