I have a MICS 7.0 XC and CP150 with 30.00.72.22 software. Intermittently calls being put on hold are tranferred to voicemail. When we press the line to retrieve the calls phone will say line use by 243 which is the VM pilot DN.

Has anyone experience this problem before? The only thing I can think of is rebooting the KSU and VM.

Are the calls ringing back to the phone that put them on hold and then going into VM?

No, according to the user they just put the call on hold then try to pick it up right away then the call are gone to voicemail.

Have you verified the problem? If not I would go there and recreate the issue.

DigitelD nailed the problem, hold recall takes effect and call goes to mbox of phone that put it on hold

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)

Still having the same problem after rebooting the KSU and voicemail. I can't find any solutions from Nortel also. Anymore takers on this issue. I don't know if I should blow everything up, then reprogrammed from scratch.

what did nortel say?
Did u duplicate or r u going by users word???
DO u have your vendor involved???

Check your recall timer and make sure someone hasn't changed it to a really low number... I think the default is 30 seconds.

That was changed before I rebooted the KSU and voicemail.

I having my vendor replace the ls/ds because we don't know where to go from here. I know it doesn't drop the calls completely so I kinda hesitant of doing this.

It doesn't sound like a hardware issue. When I can't re-create an issue, I usually ask the person having the trouble to show me what they're doing. Maybe they're actually using the camp feature to a phone in DND?

I would second that... is it the same person experiencing the issue? Good luck!

So far, there are 10 users experiencing the same problem.

ok so you have at least 10 users with trunks on phone because icom button shouldnt say line in use...so does the vm dn have trunks assigned also...verify all ports programmed correctly not just vm dn but all on cp

If this is a fwd to prime issue, setting the lines prime to none is the same as setting them to 221 (the attendant set). If that set is forwarded to vm, the calls will follow that path.
