Hoizontal and vertical conversions

Hi all,
I am a new to sas. I came across a question as of how we do horizontal and vertical conversions.
As per my knowledge I think it is about Transposing Variables and coloums.
Can any one help me if this is different form what I think.

Yes that is correct. You would use the PROC TRANSPOSE to accomplish this.
