Hit The Road and Archiving: HELP!!! 1

This is a problem from A GroupWise user here at work and probably affects a lot of people. It is GW 5.5.1<br>
<br>
He regularly uses "hit the road" so he can have access to all his stuff and not be connected to the server. <br>
<br>
The problem is that when he works off-line like this, he does NOT have access to his archived stuff.<br>
<br>
This bothers him because he knows it is archived on his PC - but he can't get to it. He is archiving to his C:/ drive.<br>
Any help with this? He needs to be able to get to his archive. Thanks in advance!<br>

Unfortunately this is a lovely feature of GW 5 upgrade to GW 6 and all your problems will go away! It is very easy to upgrade to GW6 and would not require much user training! Good Luck let me know how you get on.

Unfortunately, Remote GroupWise Users are unable to Archive. Its a huge limitation within GW55x.

Thanks for the answers to the old posting! Nice to see folks still read some of the old messages. WE are upgrading to 6 shortly. I hope so because I will be doing training on it shortly to outside places! Doesn't seem too different(from the training perspective) on the client side at least,,..I understand the web access is sooo much better!
