We are running Exchange 2000 Standard and hit the 16Mb limit. I've run an offline defrag, but no joy, storage group keeps dismounting. We have a CRM system that sends data to mobile users via exchange and this and filled the db.

Anyone know if I upgrade to Exchange 2000 Enterprise it will start-up? Will it look to mount the storage db and fail. I don't want to spend all that money and it won't work? Thanks

yes it will cure your prob, but there is a reg key you can change to temporarily give you an extra 1GB to get it up and running and then use system manager to identify where the problems are / bin the big emails...

Reg entry has been covered in this forum I think.
