Guys, I know this is a rookie question, but Im drawing a blank and dont have my books with me. What command can I find the history logs and error files from the previous night, also how long does a 61c keep error files?

HISTORY FILES ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS HOW MUCH MEMORY YOU HAVE ASSIGNED TO THE FILE, THEN IT WRITES OVER IT

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

it keeps files untit it runs out of space, if your hsty buffer is 8K, that's pretty quick.. you can bump that up in ld 17.. another hidden record is ld 117 prt sel 500, that may go back a little futher

2 ways:

LD 117
PRT
SEL 500

or

LD 22
PRT
AHST

depending how PBX is configured and how many messages received, history may stay for 1 day to alot of days...

It should be all 1 line
PRT SEL 500 or more this is the number of
error codes you want to see.

the time depends on how clean your switch is and how many changes you do per day.. mine usually goes back three days or so.. more on the weekends, we have 3 full time switchman and with them changing loads etc.. and a few "fat fingers" per change... 3 days average, and my hist buffer is at 50K.. ld 22 prt adan

You can always increase the SEL to 2000 lines as well

LD 117
CHG SELSIZE 2000

Then you can use
PRT SEL 2000
