can anyone tell me whther what i did is correct or wrong.

i had the pure RMX and UNIX in a flash and booted with this disk and i copied the area E and area I from flash to harddisk newly initialised one and sytem came up and running i did not use HD imange tool. the system is working on test now. IS this the OK. please advice. Thanks in advance.

I presume it is a simplex (single processor)
Is there an 'A' on that processor?

It is another way of creating a working hard disk and is supported.
Initially you will get dash dot
When RMX is working you will get 'yota'
Then when activated you will get 'A'

thanks a lot sbcsu yes i have an A. It is a duplex exchange. but at present i used only one dscxl card in order to creste a hard disk.

Duplex
The bottom processor should be dash dot
Above that an A
Put in the top one last and it should get to S
Ensure the RTM's on the back are in the correct (Corresponding) slots
Also fit the 10 port network card on the top and you should be good.
