Hello mates, is there anyone here can advise which best thing to do when HiPath Assistant is frozen? Tried to reboot but hipath says there's an unknown operation that locked the system. Please help. Cheers mates!

Open ComWin/Expert Access and login to the HiPath

STA-UW7;

put in your username and password that you normally use on the assistant.

(If it asks you what type of terminal then type in ANSI)

If it says you have mail then just ignore that.

Type in
init6

the Unixware will reload.

If you want to see it load up or if you want to log on via the serial line on the bottom processor there is a male 9 way 'D' type connector marked 'service'
Plug that into your laptop.
Open Hyperterminal or any other terminal session
Open it at 38400-8-N-1
You can also log on from there and do the 'init6' as above
Or when it is loading up you can see if there is a problem.

What's STA-UW7 and init6 command does?

STA-UW7;
opens up a ComWin/Expert Access interface into the Unixware 7/Assistant

init6
reloads the Assistant
