Hello,

My client have requested a telnet function for their PMS. How can we add telnet function directly to customer LAN instead of SSH to Linux first then telnet to port 7777/7778 (default ComWin port) from there.

Telnet and FTP protocols have be depreciated on Version 6 and above.
You now use Secure Shell and Secure FTP for same

I only found a way to SSH and run AMO command through Linux, where I need to give root password for them to access the system.
Is there any way or configuration that able user to direct SSH and run AMO command without log in to Linux first?

My current solution:

SSH to customer LAN (with root password) > telnet 192.0.2.3 to run AMO

What I want:

Directly SSH (since u said telnet no longer available) to customer LAN to run AMO (without root password)

Can you run Comwin from a Windows PC or setup Comwin via wine

Yes. I can run Comwin thru Windows, but customer want a telnet function, or maybe SSH will do. I also able to connect thru Comwin. But I unable to SSH to the customer LAN without going thru Linux first, just like I said in the previous post where I need to enter root password then telnet to 192.0.2.3 for me able to run AMO.
