How do we change the date on version 6 since CHA-DATE no longer is supported? Is there anothe command
Thanks, mike

As far as I remember it looks at the Network Time Protocol (NTP) setup in the Unix part.

Set the HiPath 4000 V6 time & date in Suse Linux using the character-based "yast" command via a terminal window. Do not launch init 5 mode (GUI) to use the GUI-based "Yast", as this action can rob an active V6 system of precious resources e.g. RAM. If the phones do not display the correct time/date within a few minutes after setting the time in Linux, a REG-DATE; will trigger the Linux-->RMX update mechanism.
It is advisable to change the time/date in Linux AFTER hours, just to be safe.
It is recommended to sync to a NTP/SNTP server rather than set the time manually.

To Iamnothere:
Seem to have a bug! I am able to change the Region, Country etc with Yast, but the actual time does not budge. I higlight the time HH or mm value and am unable to change...up arrow, down arrow page up, page down, plus, minus - Will you see is your version responds.
