hi all
We have hipath4000v4 with 5-digit station numbers 7xxxx. Need to change station numbers from 5-digits to 8-digit. how to change it? In Wabe max position 6.

You can do that:

From the AMO Descriptions A31003-H3140-S104-9-7620 said:
Note for 7/8-digit codes:
This feature can not be activated together with the VNR feature. The code is converted to
a 6-digit code within the dial plan.
In the case of a 7/8-digit code, the last 4 digits define the code base and the 3-4 digits
ahead define the office code. The office code is assigned to DAR OWNNODE. A 2-digit
alternative reference number (ARN) is assigned to the office code. The ARN is stored in
the additional data of the DAR OWNNODE.
The 4-digit code base is prefixed with the 2-digit alternative reference number and results
in a 6-digit alternative code. The 6-digit alternative code is assigned to the target DAR.
More than one office code can be assigned to the same ARN. This enables the access of
a destination using several codes. However, only one office code can be defined for
display. Using a CHANGE command, the office code used for the display can be
specifically defined.

Hi Tsesama

Why do you need to change to 8 digit numbering ?
Is the system running a city ?

Is it that the local numbering is now 8 digit ?
You can remove digits coming in to correspond with internal numbers.

Max numbering on HiPath is 7 with a change in ZAND

Thanks all
In our city all numbering changed to 8 -digits. We have 3 Hipath4000 system with 5-digit subscribers and interconnected with 2 cellular company, and 1 PSTN company by 6E1. If use DAR ownnode , How displays our number in external (cellular station)?
Or can we use prefix to displays our numbering like a 8-digits?

If your city changes to 8 digit there will be no difference to incoming calls.

What display is showing now ?
What is the actual problem - thanks

For incoming numbering showing on the screens etc. you can use KNPRE.
Can you get a HiPath tech to look at this?
